ok i just pulled off the wing on my 03 yellow evo. im looking for a hood and a trunk in c/f. the hood i here good things about seibon and there fitment. so im geting a seibon oem hood. now for the trunk. if you could post pics of your c/f trunk, who made it, and how was fitment. thanks alot.

 

i can tell you dont go with VIS for the trunk, ill try and get some pictures up and show you wat it looks like after about 3+ hours of trying to get it to fit right. go seibon all the way around

 

ok yea post some pics if you can and if anyone has a seibon trunk post pics as well with how fitment went.

 

For me, fitment on the ViS hood was pretty good, actually. Fitment on the trunk was a completely different story. I still have a big gap. I'll take pictures tonight when I get home.

My Seibon hood and trunk fit beautifully. THe hood fits tightly, and looks beautiful. The trunk fits just about perfect, just doesn't have a key hole.

I paid $600 shipped for my C/F trunk, and $550 shipped for the Seibon hood.

 

i have VIS trunk...and i am not that happy wiht it. Its very nice carbon dont get me wrong, but theres a gap on each side big enough to put my finger in. I donmt know if i jsut got a messed up one, but other VIS trunk owners complain about the same thing.

 

suscribing to this, I just pulled my wing off and love that look. I want to go to a CF trunk too. I also have heard not so good things about the VIS trunk. Evodan - tell me what you find out.

 

i did lil mods to the vis and it fits like a glove....
