ugh...I hate to be the only person with nothing nice to say, but I am a very blunt person, that's just the way I am. In my opinion, your car is borderline rice because it has an identity crisis. Lets review shall we: Evo = High performance AWD sedan Lancer = low budget economy sedan...So why would you want to make your car look like something it's not? I've been wanting to do the Evo 7 conversion on my car for a long time but the more I see Lancers going this route the less I want to do it. I think it's truely sad that you're trying to fool people into making them think that you have an evo when you know you don't..

I apologize if my critiques were out of line. For what it's worth I give you props for the time, effort, and money you put in your car...I just think you chose the wrong path.

nice fake-wanabe-ricey-POS lancer!

Even better that you put it in EVO show and shine.

Im NOT ripping on all lancers, just an EVO is an EVO and a base lancer is a base lancer.
It would be like taking a Subaru 2.5 RS, slapping on STI bagdes, wing, bumpers, etc. and rollin around saying "check out my STI......but its a special edition with no turbo, automatic tranny, and the base model interior!" yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah....

Edit: forgot to add...BARF

Let's review shall we: Evo VIII = 8th in a line of world-class, rally-based performance vechicles and first to be officially imported to the USA, Evo VII = 7th in a line of world-class, rally-based performance vehicles that were not sold in the USA.... So why would you want to make your car look like something it's not? I think it's truly sad that you're trying to fool people into making them think that you imported an evo 7 when you know you didn't...

Oh wow...I would expect this comment from a lancer owner but not from an evo owner. I guess I have to explain this again. An evo part is an Evo part. The 7,8, and 9 generation evos share the same chasis code (CT9A). So switching bumpers, wings, lights etc has been deemed acceptable by most evo owners, especially ones who have an appreciation for JDM taste. So If I choose to use evo VII parts, it in no way shape or form indicates that I am trying to play off my car as an imported VII. In fact I would still rock the UK evolution VIII badge.

Why would you expect this comment from a Lancer owner? As if owning a Lancer vs. an Evo indicates a different maturity level? I feel the same way as hueman and I own an Evo. Go figure.
