you guys are sometimes way to critical...i could see if it wasnt centered or angled... the point of changing out your badge isnt to pretend you have a jdm/edm evo, the point is to get that stupid us lancer evolution of your car. if i were trying to copy the uk version, i suppose the right side drive will be installed next and i will be sliding my badge up. maybe im just in a pissy mood .... but still, i think if its centered and level, we are doing pretty well

^ just my opinion whether they recommend it or not, if you take it somewhere to get painted from a place that can do it right, i think it would be just fine... sand the letters lightly, spray to whatever color you want and a few coats of clear and should be gravy. only issue is you probably couldnt bake the paint but i dont think it would be bad. someone should try it

 

i've got a question..... i just ordered a CF hood and trunk for my IX MR....how do you guys think this badge would look on the CF trunk (GG IX MR), with the MR badge right after the IX?

 

To be honest... I didn't even notice the badge was too low until you guys mentioned it... And he's probably right about the jdm/edm thing... IMO We are in the US and I'd keep it USDM.<<<< That's my opinion though.

 

Yeah, its his decision to put the emblem where he wants it. I like how it looks.
