its legal... its 3m tint, i think its 40% which will read 35 on the tint testers give or take the 3to5% allowance.... just looks dark because of the white car, the interior helps a great deal too. the tint is also a 3 layer film that is reflective so gives the appearance that it is darker that it really is

i didnt get a template or anything like that, you can look at some of the jdm/edm cars and see a whereabouts as to where its mounted...i just used the line in the trunk as a guideline and put it just below it. i think the gap from the mitsu symbol and the evolution ix looks good

I emailed lancershop. They don't have it in black and won't for a long long time from the sounds of it.

Isn't it supposed to be mounted above the crease line? Looks kinda awkward like that. My old VIII was mounted above it like the UK pics... like this:
ah oh well

Yes, I believe it is supposed to be mounted about a 1/4" above the crease line.

Here's mine.

here's a good link for putting on the V/// badge, http://www.joe250.com/cars/evo/badgeremoval.htm.

agree with ~1/4" above the crease
