You know how carbon fiber products looks whens its getting old? How do I turn this to like new condition again? Do I need to buy a new wing? Or thers a way how to make it looks new agin like putting clear coat or sumthng. I dunno guys.

Pls help!

hey, i went through 2 wings in 2 years...all you have to do is take it to the dealer and they'll replace it...at no cost. this is an issue with the clearcoat that has been going on since 03.

So your best bet is to get a new one through the dealer, and make sure you put some sort of sealer on the new one...that should hold up for a very long time.

There are several people that I know that are being taken care of by the dealer on the "bad wing" issue. If you still have your bumper-to-bumper warranty than take the car to the dealer and ASK NICE and maybe they will take care of you. If you are outside of your warranty, then you are screwed.

just take it to a mod friendly dealership, they are aware of the clearcoat fading on the wing and on the brembos......I wonder what causes the fading...I have an 03 also and my clearcoat on my wing and my brembos is still like new....

Thumbs up

not true, my warrenty has been out for a couple thousand miles and they actually offered to replace the faded wing for me. This at a dealer which has normally been tryin to screw me. i like to tell people that i badgered them into it tho. Point is, at least give it a shot and ask.

Shouldn't defective parts be replaced free anyway?
