Since you have it to spare anyway, why not take out the vent entirely and fiberglass a gauge location there....deleting the A/C hole instead of manhandling it.....would look alot cleaner...

A couple more pics. I was only able to get the panel installed and none of the senders because it is only 15 degrees outside today in CO -- too damn cold to actually work in the engine bay

I think I need to takes some pics during the day as the flash really pulls out the dirt
