So the 1G DSM Bov with the flange will bolt up to the stock flange like the JDM, APS bov's????? Interesting...........and the 1G DSM bov can hold up to 18 psi................cool beans!!!!!!!!!!!
I use it on my Evo and I run 21 psi. The driveability is great and I've had no problems.

Thats interesting stalling/running like crap never happened to me when I ran my RFL?

But the running rich part is true.

barely..if u have an aftermarket intake pipe/filter setup, then you might hear a slight sound. I had it running with my AEM intake n filter and you're not gonna be satisfied believe me. Its pretty much the same as running a stock bypass valve with an aftermarket intake. Read my previous post again and decide

...looking at it from your point of view (because we were all once a noob)...i'd go with a Greddy Type-S. The Greddy type can be vented or recirculated which i experimented with. The Greddy type S vented is loud as hell like I told you, if you decide you don't wanna sacrifice driveability for sound, then just recirculate it, then bam you're done. It's fairly cheaper than the HKS SSQV as well and a far better BOV imo, as well as others. I bought both of the ones i've owned used for under 130 and worked flawlessly

alright thanks man.

and yea, your earlier post helps out alot.

and if i were to get the greddy type s bov,(because my friend was saying it was a good one to buy) would i only have to purchase the BOV itself and not any other accesories.

I know this BOV has not been brought up, its the Turbosmart EVO Specific Dual-Port BOV. Just curious on how that thing works. Never seen it or heard of it on an Evo

$230 for a BOV I think you might want to rething you'r spending! Get something that will actually make an improvement on you'r car. If you must have a BOV that makes noize get a Forge DV that recirculates and use an open air filter, you will still get that noize you'r looking for minus the stalling / Idle problems
