why do you "have to" get coilovers before getting rims? I don't see the "need" to unless your going by your 2fast2furious booklet step guide. CubanEvo, if you like those rims put them on first. If you want coilovers, go right on ahead. Do whatever you think is right. Lighter rims= faster acceleration and better performance. But I see no need to get the coilovers first so just listen to your heart bra(southern cali talk sorry.)

And how are coilovers a 2fast 2furious mod??? When you think of a fast and furious mod i thought you would think of something cheap, and ricey, like under glow or something like that, not coilovers that cost over $1,000.00. and you say lighter rims = faster acceleration?? then isnt it safe to say coilovers = better handling??

and to answer your question about the springs, personally i love my tein springs, if you ask alot of people on this forum they will say that they ride bad, and negatively effect the handling. I couldnt really tell you about how the handling is with these springs i dont take it to the track and im not making any sharp turns and such, but for everyday driving like i do, i love these springs. they were cheap and give a nice and aggresive drop. I personally think that the Evo rides a little bit smooter than the stock suspension.
The only reason I went with these springs was because I dislike how the evo sits from the factory, and I wanted something cheap so that i could concentrate on tthe performance aspect. I will eventually upgrade to coilovers but not anytime soon, I think if you are like me and want something cheap for the time being while you concentrate on a different aspect of the car I'd say get Tanabes springs they handle pretty good from what I hear and they dont drop the Evo as low to the ground....good luck with your choice with whatever you decide...rota boosts on your Evo will look sickkkk
