i took my wing off the second day i had it just to get an idea what it would look like....i came to the conclusion its not an evo without a wing......so i put it back on...and now deal with critisim and cops staring every day lol ...........but ya know what..ive had it for a month....and i FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKING love this car!!!!!! i've had so far a 2002 accord v6 ex, yukon denali, mazda rx-8, audi a4 ultra sport...this is my favorite car so far...i liked my other cars...(no i didn;t total them) but in the past 4 years i've been driving.....i look forward to driving for the frirst time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
looks really good, i could go either way with or without the spoiler. what did you do about the holes if you don't mind me asking cause im thinking about going wingless also. thanx
The wing removal was planned before I bought the car. If I was planning to keep it stock or didn't live in the Republik of Kalifornia the wing would stay. Wingless avoids attention from our friends in the law-enforcement establishment and envious and destructive kiddies, while allowing me to see light-bars and other important objects to the rear. I haven't settled on a permanent solution for the holes as of yet, since I want to be able to re-install the wing for track days. My wife keeps chiding me to buy another trunk, so I may just do that. For now, I've settled on little clear vinyl pads to cover the holes. Thanks for the comments.
