Wingless IX

I have to say that I love this look and the expanded rear view. My first mod:

Congrats, I think your the first IX to go wingless. Maybe you'll start a revolution.

Looks great by the way.

it's ok... I kind of like the wing. Hey you think you can take a pic of your interior lights? I was kind of wondering what color the interior lights were.

The wing removal was planned before I bought the car. If I was planning to keep it stock or didn't live in the Republik of Kalifornia the wing would stay. Wingless avoids attention from our friends in the law-enforcement establishment and envious and destructive kiddies, while allowing me to see light-bars and other important objects to the rear. I haven't settled on a permanent solution for the holes as of yet, since I want to be able to re-install the wing for track days. My wife keeps chiding me to buy another trunk, so I may just do that. For now, I've settled on little clear vinyl pads to cover the holes. Thanks for the comments.

Looks great without the wing
As a 50+ year old, dont need
the "boy-racer" look.
