It's 304 SS. It will not rust.

it's worth it to someone that wants or needs it.

i think it's fantastic that evodave put this together. i mean really, where would the aftermarket be if we if we didnt cater to every possible individual taste, need, or demand out there?

unless your tracking the car, no one "needs" this duct.. but it sure is an awesome way to add some more performance and a little bling in the show scene and i'm glad it's available to the everyday EVO owner. hell, no one "needs" 2-DIN's, but i developed a kit to offer EVO owners a chance to convert from their functional 1-DIN to an even more functional 2-DIN.

anyway, enough rambling. great job evodave

If it is a concern for you then don't buy it, but I don't see the point of you posting to try and convince people that it's not worth the money. Seems like a waste of your time. People are going to buy what they want. I also find it to quite a contradiction that you are to talking about how impractical this mod is, and your driving around with a SPEC stg 5 clutch in a street car.

Would the bugs know not to go in the other huge openings in the bumper and just go in the headlight intake tube? Also curious, in what part of PA does the sun come out at night?

the work looks great!...but why would you wanna spend all that money on a duct?... when you can get a APS CAI(~ $250 or less, wihch sits outside of the engine compartment...cooler air)....and keep your headlights in one piece.......it seems like it would really come down to preference and your wallet....

i look at it like this...there is a reason the cyber evo runs this type of duct setup. They could have anything they want and they opt for this type if intake duct. I don't argue with the success of being the fastest car around most circuit in japan.
