to neon or not to neon.....lol

alright i know that most everyone thinks neons are "ricey" but im jus curious what everyone thought them jus as a show purpose.....i mean shows like HIN and stuff indoors with the lights off, i figure a lil bit of neon will get ur car noticed rather than it sittin in the corner in the dark,,,,,so im thinkin of addin a lil neon for that reason......whats everyones opinion on the subject.......let the commenting/criticism begin...lol

i have some neon for shows, i think that they look good.
if people at the shows talk crap, just tell them to meet you at the track and show them whats up its really up to you though.

The only problem with neons as I see it, is that it brings far too much unwanted attention on the ROAD. It glows and catches the eyes of other drivers.

But in shows, where you need attention, why not??

My debate is already going on in this thread.. But they are about factory LEDs let alone neons!!

Bumper and Bonnet LEDs (OEM)

At shows, having the neons will get a few more points, if you don't have them, along with many other errrr...... "things" then you don't get those points. That's why I never placed with previous cars at "big import shows". But....its amazing how many people would gather around and actually stick around asking technical questions about the motor work/mods. The show cars, no one asks questions, they see kits, lights, tv's, etc and just move on.

I'm not a big fan of neons, but I've got them strictly for show purposes:

They're actually on the underside of the hood, but they light up the headlights.
