little weight reduction....... new paint


This weekend i decided to do a color change on the evo! I got the jams done and the doors back on the whole outside scuffed just waiting for booth time at a friends shop

Steal blue mica......Yes a Subaru STi color only produced in japan. Next week i should have compleate painted pics, Then time for some new wheels. The pictures i have just dont do the color justice compared to in person

like somone said the color looks differant shades in every light pictures does this color no justice. I cant wait to finish it when i can borrow a booth. I trimmed everything out in a garage came out good but i dont want to risk painting the rest of the car like that withought some type of booth.

Didn't Subaru make a special edition WRX called the RB5 (Richard Burns - car #5)with that color?
I remember reading about that car in Automobile magazine way back in the day.
It was a article about Japanese cars that we didn't have in the US at that time (WRX, Evo, Skyline, and I believe the Accord Type R).
I'd still kill for a 22B.
I'm very interested as to how an Evo would look in that color.

Well My buddys paint booth was tied up so i made my own at my work with some 2x3's and some plastic vents and a fan worked well actualy

Car still needs to be wet sanded and buffed and i also have to order some wheels for it Ill keep everyonme updated
