Every picture I've seen of the VII tails looks like the backup / reverse lights are red. Has anyone had any legal or safety issues with this? Does anyone have a pic of them lit?

 

Yeah, they're gonna be red. Some people have modified the tails so the turn signals are reverse lights and vice versa.

 

I have the JDM Evo VII tails and the reverse lights come through white with a small hint a red (since the lense is red). Cant really even notice it. I will try to post a pic later.

 

I usually just keep backing over the officer before he gets a chance to notice.

 

 

Mine light up purple... But I've got blue-ish reverse lights. They look pretty white with the normal bulbs thought.

They are white. The tint on the outside of the evo7 tail is not red at all, it is more like pink which is why the reverse shows through white. The inside of the taillight is also red which makes it appear fully red while still giving the white reverse

I was going to say if you buy real JDM tails they will be white, but if you paint them I'm guessing red.
