I'm might have to replace my front bumper, but the stock VIII bumper at the dealer is like $718..

The stock evo IX bumper is like $795....

does anyone know a better place to get these outside the dealer? I haven't found anything good anywhere.

any thoughts on this kaminari one....

 

accolade makes a repica ix front...dont know about fitment

the kaminari is ok..not my first choice, but id do more research for an ix bumper

 

I like the IX, and I noticed that accolade made a replica, but I've read to much negative feedback to ever buy from them.

 

you can get a cheaper oem ix front from one of the vendors, probably.

 

Is it pre painted when you get the bumper from the dealer?

 

Get a bumper from the dealer...not feelin' the Kaminari one..No-No.

Accolade..be careful..find the post by Buschur's guy Jarrod..had problems with it.

I haven't found a vendor that offers IX front bumpers other than accolade.

Those quotes above were unpainted.

I would go with the oem piece either 8 or 9

 

I like the looks of the Evo VIII bumper best even though it's not the newest style. Those can be found for sale very reasonably priced on the forums all the time. IX stuff will cost more just because it is newest model so it's up to you if it's worth the extra $$.

way too much - feedback. I would try calling another dealer because that price seems way to high unless it came painted.

 

Yes in Wicked white or unpainted is all thats avail.

The IX bumper is $750+ another $200+ for all the grills and then the Front lip...so its well over $1200.

Trust me I got one from The dealer @ Dealer-to-dealer cost and I still spent $1000 and would have had to paint it Weightless.

I sold my IX bumper.

just get another used VIII bumper and re-use your stock grills and save some money
