Quote: ok this might help. THere is a big vertical brush at each corner then above is about 20 hanging things that look like almost speghetti and those go back and forth.
Thats them...they look like spaghetti. Dont really hurt your car, but as far as the rims they dont clean them for **** with those weak sprayers..

A black EVO going though the bristles constantly will put little scratches all over the damn thing. Hand wash it or use a touch-free system.

With a black car I wouldn't use it too much.

And in my experience, most dealers try to do whatever they can as cheaply as possible. I wouldn't count on that washer being very soft on the car.

If you can't do it yourself take it to a hand car wash! No if, and or buts!

I've seen some of those wheels tracks rub the rims too.

i would never go through a machine wash. Touchless is ok. Requires alittle towel work and detail mist when done, but its better then trying to wash my own car in the dead of a Chicago winter.

So you lose a couple fingers due to frostbite and your neighbors look at you like you're on crack...at least you know your baby was cleaned the right way

i go to the touch free car wash as well, the only thing is you have to clean the wheels and tires after.

I heard that the swirling thingy that does the roof of the car can catch on the wing and rip it off. Because of this I have never taken it to an automatic car wash. Anyone else hear this too?

Don't use it if you have a lot of dirt on your car!

here is something to think about. What would you rather have done, Big Bruno with a brillo pad giving you a bath, or Hot nurse betty giving you a sponge bath with her... well you get the idea now think about what your car would like.
