to get rid of the seem y dont they do it to the end of the hood and fenders.......it would cost a little more but would look much better.....even with the seem its a great idea esp on a dark car where chips show more than white or silver

+1. The line looks like a huge scratch.

Wow that is an amazing job
If you have never applied this stuff you will not understand how difficult it is to get it perfect.

I think he said he used Avery because he has been having problems with the 3M film. He said he hopes they fix it soon because the 3M film is cheaper than the Avery film.

Yeah man...Your gonna be so grateful you got that in a few months. I wish i had gotten one. I was always too afraid that that seem would stick out like a sore thumb on my Tarmac Black though.

EDIT: Did they clear bra it right over the headlights?

Aside from power mods...probably one of the best investments you'll make. I'm sure your EVO would thank you if it could. And at your house? cant ask for much more than that!

i paid $550 installed for mine and it's 3M. i look at it as one of the best investments i'll ever make in my car. I drive 70 miles a day, 60 of them highway and after a year my last car's hood looked like it had been shot with a shotgun. so far i've put almost 2000 miles on my IX and there are no chips or dents.
i thought the seam was gonna drive me crazy too but unless you're right up against the car and looking for it, it's very hard to see.

i'll take the seam over the chips and dents any day
