Why 2 a/f gauges? Just curious.

If my AFR was -15:1, we'd have some serious problems. That is the new AEM Serial Gauge, not their UEGO Gauge.

Yeah, I haven't figured out a good solution to that - the FJO is just about .5mm too small for the gauge pod opening, so it doesn't sit tight. I tried electrical tape and a rubber band, but I can't find anything that is the perfect size. I may have to Dremel out the gauge pod some more and use something thicker.

Looks like it would be pretty hard to see the gas gauge

I am surprised that electrical tape did not work. If you need it thicker, just add more electrical tape around the gauge. This has worked well for me in the past.

* It is hard to see the gas gauge. I have to conciously check it.

* The Serial Gauge displays the data stream output from the AEM EMS. Link to EvoM AEM thread.

* The electrical tape doesn't stick well enough and binds up when sliding the gauge in the cup. Like I said, it's a VERY slight difference - maybe less than 0.5mm. I'm sure I can work something out, but I was eager to get them in the car at the time.

yeah... I have the same problem. I actually ran out of gas when I first had the gauges up Now I'm used to it and check every time I get in my car!

This isn't driving angle, but you get the idea:

I have the same problem also. But I just reset my odometer every time I fill up, and when it gets to around 275 mi, I know I have to stop soon.

I like the serial gauge. I'm thinking of picking up 2 or 3 of them for the dash.

It really doesn't bother me. I consider it a worth while compromise. I like having my gauges all in one spot, near the tach. During pulls, I rarely have time to study anything other than the road and the tach so it's nice to have the FJO and Serial Gauge right there at a glance - I don't have to change my focus point or look around the cabin for them.

I'm more than willing to watch the trip odometer or to shift to the side every few days to watch the fuel level gauge. I am already in the habit of resetting the trip odometer in order to calculate fuel economy.
