Well, after getting keyed and backed into by a truck in the same night, my paint is almost done. All that is left is to paint the engine bay, front supports, wetsand, and buff. The color is Vesuvios Metallic, a porsche color that can only be described as the deepest darkest purple/maroon i've ever seen.
Suspension and all other parts are going on the car on friday, will update pics then when car is 100% done.

yeah, pictures do 0% justice, the color is awesome in real life, really deep. no i didn't do it myself, it is at a guys house/shop in jacksonville, he does amazing work on some show cars and i happened to hear about him through a friend. things are a lot cheaper when there is no overhead involved...whew dang.

yep, 18x9.5, fit perfectly, no fender rolling w/ the 255/35/18s on. looks gnarly too, especially when dropped on those 1cm wider fenders up front.

mayhew: yeah, engine bay is now painted, i would die if i had to keep it red. die.

SUAVE: VARIS = teh ****, the fenders mounted up PERFECTLY, worth the extra money if you ask me, and they are like 2lbs each. i was gonna grab the oil/air cooler ducts too, but i decided to paint the fenders since for some reason i'm over the whole cf look right now...even the air guides are painted, hopefully it all turns out well. we'll find out on thursday.

p.s. anybody got a set of heads for sale cheap, i need em, mine are smashed and i got screwed by insurance so repair money is a little tight, ok, really tight. thanks.

So you went from red to black? I would have went with a more unique uncommon color if I was doing a full color change.
