I've just recently purchased a RHD Evo 7 that Will be undergoing a Time Attack build... my question is do any of you know of a Widebody kit for the EVO 7? I know it's the same CT9A chassis as the 8 but i would love to keep the Square look of the 7, let me know if any of you can help.

 

so your building a "Time Attack" EVO and you need a Widebody kit 1st?

anyway...Pick up a Hyper Rev Magazine and find anything you need even bodykit wise.

Personally This is show and shine and I'd love to see it in stock form...I'm sure a "time Attack" Track car is not gonna drop 2.0sec off a lap w/ a wide body kit...so thats My Opinion.Curious as to waht else it has.

To be honest the time gained by the advantages to going to a widebody are probably more than 2 seconds a lap. Ask AMS why they are wide bodying there track car, why all the fast track evos have widebodies, or severely rolled fenders, without them you cant run the crazy 305 width or so tires.

no a wide body won't drop 2 seconds off my time but i bet the 315 hoosier slick i'm fitting under them will.... how about that smart ***.....

It was an open ended question w/ the answer that I gave.I didn't have an Attitude in the least.I guess if I answered w/ "SEARCH NOOB" then I may have not been called a "know it all"..right?
TO ADD: I don't also think AMS went searching for a Bodykit 1st before getting the motor output and Duarble enough to justify running a widebody w/ obviously Super wide wheels to need that much Traction.


Bottom line--------I'd like to the see the VII regularly in stock form or What ever you are running.

The car is currently At the fabricators getting the cage installed, The car is in the final stages of it's build once the car comes back it will be ready for it's final assembly.

I've looked hi and low for a wide body that can fit my setup but have been unable to find it i am considering haveing a custom sheetmetal fenders and quarters made and using a cutom sectioned stock bumber.

Pictures will be provided to evom just as soon as the car is complete.

FYI Modified Mag will be doing a cover story on the car as soon as it is complete......
