question about seibon cf hood

question about seibon cf hood
Im getting a seibon oem cf hood and i was wondering if i could use the stock grill vent from my stock hood bc i dont like the one it comes with..
edit:Nevermind! The hood im buying has already been modified to use the stock mesh and grill.

As far as I know the seibon rain guard/hood vent can't be removed,unless you do some cutting modifications.

the grill will fit just that u have to make some brackets on the bottom side of the grill
to hold the grill down onto the hood

I have the same hood, and I see that it would fit. What brackets did you use? Could you show a picture? I would be very interested in doing this.

i just used any aluminum sheets laying around my house , cut and drill to what i wanted thats it i didnt really care how it looked on the inside
but if u really want a picture of it i would take one

Actually I would really like a picture. WHen it comes to creating things like brackets or other sort of ingenious ideas......I fall flat on my face. I need to visualize it, or see it inperson before I can really tackle the thing.

Thank you very much. That gives me better ideas. But thank you very much for your help. Too bad we cant put the heat guard on our hoods too. I tried but none of the holes lined up.
