As far as I know the seibon rain guard/hood vent can't be removed, unless you do some cutting modifications.

it is the type c hood from seibon
the grill will fit just that u have to make some brackets on the bottom side of the grill
to hold the grill down onto the hood
hope that helps

I have the same hood, and I see that it would fit. What brackets did you use? Could you show a picture? I would be very interested in doing this.

Let me know

Looks nice btw

Actually I would really like a picture. WHen it comes to creating things like brackets or other sort of ingenious ideas......I fall flat on my face. I need to visualize it, or see it inperson before I can really tackle the thing.

Thanks for your help for the "shop" impaired.

if u find the right parts and put alittle time into it
it would look alot better than mines

Thank you very much. That gives me better ideas. But thank you very much for your help. Too bad we cant put the heat guard on our hoods too. I tried but none of the holes lined up.

What is the bracket held onto the hood with? I see you screwed one side onto the grille, but what are you using to hold the other end of the bracket to the hood?
