For that much money a quart, I dont see it being a good idea unless your car is a trailor queen or show car. Cant imagine how pissed I would be to get a scratch with that type of paintjob.
If you paint your IX Top Secret Gold make sure you get some TE37 or LE37 Top Secret Gold Edition rims to match your ride (17”: $670 per wheel 18”: $725 per wheel). It would look soo ridiculous. And I know you got that lambo....so if you got the loot to buy one of those than I'm pretty sure you could afford their rims. I really hope you paint your car and get the rims to match it would be simply amazing.
yea they can claim the rights to that certain paint code, spoon has the same this with one of its colors i think its the yellow but its a special blend of dupont paint that they can only get
I've actually been considering painting my IX gold too. I haven't seen the TS gold in person, but I'm thinking of a gold more along the lines of rose gold. Maybe a light gold or champagne w/ pink pearl or something. I saw the new Ford fivehundrends that sorta had the theme I was lookin for. Either that gold..or straight Kandy Purple Pearl!!! The purple with some polished Work CR Kai's in 18x9.5!

I would guarantee that Top Secret gets their wheels directly from Rays in Japan as they are in Japan as well. They wouldn't have their wheels sent to the US first from Rays then back to Japan again.
And about the paint, sorry for my poor word choice. Maybe they don't have the "rights" to a given color, but they're most certainly not going to give away the "recipe". And you can rest assured that "approval" by Top Secret as to which cars can even purchase the paint from them involves a very stringent "application process".

also, .. wouldn't you want to be a REAL TOP SECRET Car ? instead of "trying" to copy their paint color ? basically .. its like buying fake brides and telling everyone that its real ! $650/qt ; 1700/seat .. get the point ? and plus .. even if you can buy the paint .. they would then have to approve your car to wear their colors ... its more pride than anything else
