Good luck painting your Evo "Top Secret Gold"!

They have exclusive rights to the paint color and will allow no vehicle to be painted this color unless it has been tuned and/or built by them.

Your best bet is probably to check out jtuned.com. They did a feature awhile ago on 3 gold cars, one of which was a WRX, so you get a similar feeling of what the Evo would look like (4 door, chunky, etc).

He could use a very similar paint. A company cannot claim rights to a color.

actually thats not true it says right on their website:
"Top Secret Paint - Though we get many requests for the "color code" for our trademark Top Secret Gold paint, no such code exists nor is it available from any paint or body shop. Our paint is our own custom color and blend made from only the finest materials. The paint is available through us for $465 per quart, pending the approval of the vehicle it is to be used on.:" so you can use thieir paint but they have to approve the car its going on....cant be buying it for your huyndai llol

Or you can contact Bullet Proof Automotive here in the states as they are "Top Sec 3" and are the official Top Sec for the US

It does not look too metallic, more of a pastel flat gold, should not be to hard to duplicate, that is if you had a paint chip. Going off a photo and matching paint is almost impossible. But it also depends on what type of paint and clear is used.

Try to get the EXACT "Mystic" color from SVT that Ford used on their Cobra's in the 90's. They have rights on that...Not stringent on what car you can and can't paint...But it is their own proprietary color.
