I still have most of the mods from the VIII though, once I feel the urge to, I will swap 'em in
Congratulations on the purchase Najeeb!

btw, got anything laying in the garage for sale?
:]

Nice to see you finally got your IX. I know you've been waiting a while to get it. Let the modding begin!! Some bronze or gold rims would be a nice start.

Yea I was actually thinking of powdercoating the BBS wheels gold. Kinda like the STi BBS wheels.

Haven't seen it done at all, so thought it might look different, in a good way

What do you guys think?

dont do it! those BBS rims look nice the way it is...you'll ruin it if you powder coat them.

no offense to those who powder coat their wheels but... IMO the way I look at it is if you cant afford rims then just leave them stock ..powder coating them just makes the car look cheap.. again this is based on my opinion, no hard feelings

I'd say keep the MR BBS wheels the way they are, and buy some bronze/gold Volks, Advans or Work if you could afford them. Like Derek888 said, I think you will ruin those wheels if you powder coat them. My $.02.

Its incredible how different the cars look, when all they've done is just some minor model changes....

I would never buy an VIII after seeing the IX. I wonder if that will be the case when the X comes out?

Good upgrade
