The Replacement Killer

.
.
.
Out with the old, and in with the new

This is at 10am in the morning today lol.

Got the MR from my man Leo at Wantagh Mitsubishi, who hooked me up with a great deal on the MR ($35,900 before taxes). Anyone looking to get a Mitsu, go see Leo, he's great to deal with.

The MR is sweet, the bilstein suspension is waaaayy better than I expected, and with the new seats (compared to my old leather recaro's), make for a very comfortable ride. The interior with the minor upgrades they've done for the IX, looks MUCH classier compared to the VIII's interior.

Power is nice, although I miss my TME turbo's instant spoolup.

The only things that bother me is that I miss my short throw shifter, it feels like im rowing a boat in the MR lol. Also, i keep forgetting that I have a sixth gear available now haha... Oh and I kinda miss my sunroof lol. But whatever, i LOVE the car!

Lol when I saw the dealership guy drive my evo 8 away to park it in the back, i got kinda sad, it was a sweet evo. But this one is all that and more

Anyways, Enjoy the pics

I'll have nicer pics up later on this week hopefully.

I did the same exact thing. However, I traded in my 05 wicked white evo for a 06 gg ix mr. White looks sweet but I had a white evo so I decided to make a change and get my second favorite color. Glad to see many of us are doing the switch, I regretted it for a week but now I'm so glad I did, the nine looks so much more pimp.

yea, but no one around here is giving anywhere near that price heh..

I've heard of people paying $37k - $39k BEFORE taxes.

So as far as I'm concerned, i got a good deal hehe

Plus, since mitsu is not making a 2007 Evo, i hear dealerships will be charging more for the IX's that are left, till the Evo X comes out.

definitely not a deal on that car......you easily overpaid 4-5K......but if that's the best deal around your area then you had no choice I guess....

How long did it take to convert back to stock. I guess you kept all you stock parts?

And good luck with the new ride, looks nice.
