New Evo IX owner

I picked up a new 06 Evo IX base last week. I am in the process of selling a dedicated track C4 and will ocncentrate on the Evo as my new track toy, plus street toy. I just do not have the time to dedicate to a real race program so I am going back to dabbling in some track event HPDE style and maybe pick up autox again. I used to run in FS with a '89 IROC with SCCA about 8-10 years ago. I sound like a V8 guy from all that intro, but probably one of my favorite street cars of all time that I had for ~3 years was a E36 M3 sedan. I have kids, so when I tried to make it work with a Z06 it just didn't - between days when I had to take the kids, clients for work, or wanting my bike with me, it was rarely driven. I am looking forward to driving the Evo a lot more and will not hesitate to take it up skiing too next winter with a set of snow tires. Anyway, my other current ride is a 2005 Caddy CTSV. Here are pics of the new Evo:

So you have a C 4, a CTS - V, and now a IX.

I hate you.

J / P ....... Congrats - that EB is a sweet color tho. Hope to get mine this summer.

well, ya, but the C4 is not a street car. full cage, etc. dedicated track car. and is for sale, so hopefully will not have it much longer.

hard to do with all the rain we are getting here in Seattle, uh - I mean the Bay Area.... The car sure does well in the wet!!! Far better than the CTSV on F1's.
