Hey, i got a pair of MR tails from the states, but one was broken.
i dont have time to wait for a replacement as a big event is coming up here in sweden.

my question: are the MR tails for the EVO 8 and the STOCK EVO 9 the same?

cause i problably can get one of those in time, but no point in hunting if they are diffrent in color etc.

please help me out

 

usdm 8 mr tails all clear
ukdm 8 clear/amber signal
ukdm 8 mr tails are black w/ amber signal
usdm 9 mr tails are black w/ clear signal

my mr lights are blacked with amber signal, but i really want them without.

 

you crazy, that's hotness, what you have are ukdm/jdm mr tails

 

haha im allergic to the orange parts

ive got both the head and taillights from lancershop. ive already removed the amber part on the headlight, but it seems impossible to do the same with the tails?

i believe your wrong, usdm evo 8 and evo 8 MR are clear tails, UKDM are falt black with amber and usdm 9 tails are a mettalic black with clear turning signal

 

yeah man just get some us 9 tails black/clear signal !

 

I know that the US EVO 9 rear tailights are the BLACK Chrom and not the FLAT Black like the UK or JDM spec...

 

just get the USDM 9 tails. those are the best tails anyway

 

Exactly. I don't understand why people get the less attractive JDM ones anyway, with their amber turn signals. Oh wait, they're JDM, which adds 10 hp. I guess that makes them worth the extra $250.

 

actually from what i heard from florida dealers at least. the usdm lights are a tad more expensive then buying JDM MR tails or 7 tails. plus imo the JDM MR flat black looks alot better.

 

Well maybe, if that's what you like. But I really don't like the amber turn signals.

 

I got a pair of IX tail lights for trade if anyone here has MR tails.

 

Ditto.. i also already ahve the amber overlay...so they look JDM...But I would rather have the Flat black look....
