Thanks for the kind words (all). It's been in over a year now and works great. I know others don't care for Autometer too much but it has been working for me nicely.

The only real complaint I have (which is a very minor one) is that the condom that you put on the bulb (for red backlighting color) seems to fade after about 5 months or so. So now my backlight color is sort of light red. Although 5 months of driving for me is about 9000 miles and I also have the thing wired so it's on all the time (when the car is on of course). It's not tied to the dimmer so it only comes on when the lights are on. If I did that it would cut down on the bulb usage a ton (for me at least).

If you splice it to the green/yellow wire under the fuse block(White harness) it will only come on when you turn your lights on. I would recommend that you do not use the dimmer.

Good tip. Thanks! I knew there was a way to have it only come on with the lights, but I've honestly been too lazy to search for it .

I believe Evomoto has pics of it under one of their install threads. Just use the pics and it is easy. I searched around and the dimmer is a real low current and your gauges can fry it out cutting out your headlights and stuff.

Edit: Just verified the Green/Yellow wire is for the parking lights.

I have always been curious about the accuracy of the gauge (based on comments from others). How did you verify that yours was 5 psi off?

Thanks!

you can just buy a red bulb offline somewhere and that will solve your problem for good

Excellent find on the LEDs. I ordered a regular and high output red today (I wasn't sure which one would be best). I post some pics when I get them.
