Blue EVO 8's sunday afternoon EVO photoshoot **pics**
Well, I managed to get home early this afternoon, so my buddy calls me up and we decide to go by the park to take some pics....
^^^ No we weren't racing
How did that get there?
^^^7000 Feet of straight, smooth, runway ahead
^^^ I really wanted to run but I kept my nerves under control
The police that patrol this park are federal agents...

being that ur from queens i can only think of one place that has what looks like an old air "field."
but that looks like a nice place to do some street tunes at.

you're right on the "airfield" part.....
In this park there are many activities..... an air museum, a field to fly r/c helicopters and planes, a nature and bike trail, and a field where people race their gas powered R/C cars competitively....
recently they just added a golf course and some some sand dunes, I guess for recreational ATV's

Floyd Bennett Airfield.
Paul Newman is trying to build a race track there for Champ cars and American LaMans. I hope he's successful . Would love to have a track in Brooklyn.

For those of you reading this post do not attempt to street race there, but if you do do it at your own risk... be forewarned that the NYPD's heliport is stationed there as well as the NYPD training center, and the NY sanitation dept, and US Coast Guard training center is there as well...
I drove around the whole place and every half hour or so there was an NYPD helicopter buzzing over my head....so dont do anything stupid there to attract the cops attention please
one more thing I will add is that the park is patrolled by federal park police and they usually have 1-2 cop cars in an unmarked chevy impala around the premises at all times.
and if you do go there to street race, please do me a favor and dont run over any hikers, bikers, or children that may just run about aimlessly there
