I have no preofessional training at all. I followed a couple of tutorials and after 2 years of freekin hard work im at this stage. I made another evo like a year ago(ya i love evos), its preety ****ty but theres a pic attached if u wana see it.

llxzxll: Its a white sky with illumination

@NOS1NOS2: Modelers get offended when you ask for their models since it takes such a long time to make. Ill what i can do may b you can hav my old model.

@MalibuJack:The textures are made in photoshop and its not an eniorment map, its a sky with an HDR picture

@smackevo: im working on a demo reel right now. A job doing this would be a dream if you cold hook it up.lol. The lighting was done with one infinite light and global illumination.

Some more pix of my work

The 350Z was done for a contest. I designed everything on it. Headlights to bodykit.

Very very impressive.. I was working as a professional 3d artist and animator for about 5 years from 94-99, the tools have come such a long way! We were happy to be able to simulate photorealism by faking radiosity, soft shadows, raytracing was just a dream or available in very high-end consoles...

I spent 99% of my time working with 3d studio r3, r4, Max (all versions since i still use it to this day) And I've never had the time or patience to sit down and produce anything near the quality of what you have done.. Kudos!

btw are you in school down south (art center perhaps) or are you working somewhere?
i'm assuming this isn't your first try at this so if you have a demo real i could pass it on for ya.
i think we (ilm) might be looking for modelers/creature people.
i know lucasarts is looking for a bunch of people also.
You work for ILM? - PM me when you get a chance. I'm in need of Evo/car friends, especially since I start on the 30th.

How did you get the Evo (on the first page) so dimensionally perfect? Trial and error? Specs from somewhere? Or did you just "do what looked right?" Wow man. It really looks perfect, like something that Mitsu would have used to model the car from.
