Love it or Hate it, it's done (Lambo Doors) (PICS)

to make things clear for you:
"when doing lambo doors..."
does that mean actual lamborghinis? that usually implies when customizing ANOTHER car with lambo-style doors.
time to hit the books buddy!

Not feeling it. I'd be afraid of knocking my head on the door... I'm pretty big and that would not make getting into and out of the car easier.
The reason it does not look good is this. The doors on a lamborghini (and most coupes) are longer than they are tall so by doing the lambo thing you are actually creating more clearance and negating the need to swing the door out very far. The Evo doors are taller than they are long so when you swing them up they don't clear as much space. In fact they just block your way in and out.

It's one thing to have lambo doors on a crazy show car, but your car is stock... Should have put the money into other things before the doors, but that's just my opinion.
What kills me is the people who call this rice when the Evo comes straight from the factory with rice installed. Case in point...the ghey Altezza tails. But that reminds me, doesn't "rice" infer form without function? Such as 30lbs aluminum wings, 22" wheels on imports and lighted washer nozzles? I do believe that this "lambo" kit does have form AND function.
I suggest you all stop the hating...to each their own. I'm sure the first person who put a turbo on a Civic was made fun of by V8 drivers. If you don't like it that's your perogotive but it doesn't mean it's not worth doing.
BTW...I like the look but it would be nice if the doors went straight up so that you had the clearance to get in and out. Good job though.

Thats some crazy stuff dude...not for me but thats the beauty of choice and individual taste.
I think it def. needs dropped, aftermarket wheels and reduction of non performance adding part stickers to make it complete though.

funny i was reading a magazine last night and saw advertisements for these on other cars, usually honda s2000.s etc. I wondered what it would look like on an evo(not that i was thinking about doing it, just wondered)and here it is. not for me but if it makes you happy to each his own!
