I haven't put 'em on my IX yet, believe it or not. I told myself I wouldn't put them on until I had suspension under it. I just had some RobiSpec KWs installed last week and I'll slap the CEs on later this week … probably Thursday. I'm excited for the car to look complete again.

Partially the pics don't do it complete justice since I was using a simple Canon Elph as opposed to an SLR or something that would show more detail.

But you're right, Zaino gives a great reflective finish and a nice gloss but not a real wet look or deep depth.

Do you have pics of the MDX or other vehicles you've used the products on listed below? It'd be interesting to line up a comparison.
My detailing season will be beginning very soon, and I have a plethora of silver to do. I never took pics fo the MDX last year but once I do the full detail this year (in the coming weeks), I will have plenty of pics. My apologies if I made Zaino sound lieka spoof...it's still my go to sealant for durability and when topped witha 'nuba, it combines it's glass-like shine with warmth and depth of wax...an unbeatable combo! I just prefer other sealants these days, because Zaino is a very laborious process (I do multiple layers with ZFX in one day), time which I'd rather spend polishing out the finish than topping with something that will only protect. Some product combos I will be trying this year will be derived from the following components:

Poorboy's: Natty's, Natty's Blue, EX+, EX-P, Polish w/ Carnuba Blue
Klasse: AIO
Clearkote: Red Moose Glaze, Vanilla Moose, Carnuba Moose (VERY nice wax for black)
Pinnacle: XMT Final Glaze, Souveran (Another Fav for black)
Jeff's Werkstatt: Prime and Acrylic Jett
Meguair's: NXT paste, #21, #7
Optimum: Car Wax (easiest and best spray wax IMO ever!)
Collinite: 845, 476s Paste wax
Finish Kare 1: 2180 Sealant, Pink Wax
and of course Zaino: Z-2 Pro, Z-5, and coming soon Z-5 Pro

I'm goin to see what works well on different colors. I can tell you right away Natty's, 845, EX-P, Pink Wax, and Carnuba Moose will do silver good. Of course, I specialize in black though . Dammit I need a black IX already.

Car looks great, love to see Apex Silver in NEO. But seriously, when has it not been raining in the past week?

Congrats on the IX btw, super envious. I'm sure they'll look just as hawt as last year on the VIII. Let me know how those KWs are street/track wise.

I'm interested how they perform...while moving...not just for photo shoots! j/k

Thanks for the info, seriously post pics when you do the MDX or any other silver car because I'm interested in the results. I'll have to look more into some of the products you mentioned since none of them sound familar.

Thanks, bro. I don't know when I'll get to the track. It's so damn hot in Vegas in the summer, I may just wait until fall to get out and run. The car feels great on the street! You don't have to be as aggressive … so no more forcefully tossing it around to get it to rotate. It turns on demand now. It doesn't feel like the ***-end is being dragged around anymore. It turns in conjunction with the front. I dig it and highly recommend it!
