Springtime Detailing
Springtime Detailing
This is the second year I've used Zaino process and products to detail my car and I'm phenomenally happy with the results. Granted to do the whole car start to finish from Dawning and claybarring to applying and polishing their show polish.....took all day.
It's always nice to have that glass like feel on the car but it always exposes the imperfections from chips, etc. over the years....

When did you do all that? It couldn't have been in the last 6 days...
IT'S BEEN F'ING RAINING FOR 6 DAYS.....
.....end of temper tantrum.
Car looks great! Maybe I can see it at The Lot this Sat. night.

It's okay, but these pics just reminded me why I use stuff other thn Zaino these days; there's no depth or wetness like a sealant covered with a true carnuba. Now I realize it's a silver car, but my combo of Clearkote's Vanilla Moose, Poorboy's EX-P, and then PInnacle Souveran looked noticiby much nicer when I used it on a Silver MDX. Zaino does have its qualities though...mainly the fact that it'll last forever if it layered, but then so will FK1 Pink Wax and Collinite 476S. I dunno, in my opinion, Zaino has been over hyped...nothing beats proper prep with polishing, and then sealing and waxing on top of a perfectly defect free paint job.

You're going to the Lot in the Tacoma!!
Thanks for the compliments
....and even the critiques...
Partially the pics don't do it complete justice since I was using a simple Canon Elph as opposed to an SLR or something that would show more detail.
But you're right, Zaino gives a great reflective finish and a nice gloss but not a real wet look or deep depth.
Do you have pics of the MDX or other vehicles you've used the products on listed below? It'd be interesting to line up a comparison.
