Well after much hassle, pain, and searching I finally got a hold of a set of pristine condition OEM EVO 9 non-hid headlight housings for my 05 LY EVO 8. I want to thank Evodave for hooking me up with them

Yes its the Buschur Race FMIC, which would be more useful once my AMS 50 Trim Turbo kit gets installed.

I'm not lowering my EVO either, here in NYC I need the ground clearance, besides the car handles well already... since I got the car I've added the EVO RS trunk bar, and the Hotchkiss rear swaybar (set on full stiffness)

i'm going for an alignment this weekend and will set it to 0 toe front and rear, -1.5 camber front, -1.0 camber rear, and use the stock caster setting.

The EVO IX bumper looks nice but then I'd have to do the front also...
For me I'd just go with the EVO 7 rear bumper.... ohh well..

 

Car looks sinister from the front. I see NY requires a front plate like Illinois. I just bought EVO9 headlamps for my wrecked 05 EB - can't wait to get car fixed to see how they will look as well.

Yeah we do require a front plate.... I was thinking of removing it and relocating it to the interior of the car by the sunvisor but dont know if cops will harass me for it...

I did it on my SRT4 and had no problems...
