Eliminating front plate bracket

Mine came with one - I plan on removing it. I know the bumper has holes where the bracket bolts to. Anyone know how to "plug" these holes? Anybody have pics? I would love to do this!

Thanks!

The cheapest and easiest way is to just get a rubber plug. If you want it done right, go to your local body shop and have it filled.

Do yourself a favor and look at your bumper after you remove the bracket. If its like mine (which it should be), the only hole will be on on the bottom lip of the bumper above the intercooler, which is impossible to see from the front of the car. The hole is not noticable, dont worry about pluging anything.

go to like sears hardware or a good hardware store and pick up some plastic plugs that fit in snug. Spray them with some similar color paint and it will look fine.

I guess I will take them off and get plugs. I remember nuespeed made a cool piece that covered the holes for Hondas. Also, the dealership sold body-colored plugs for civics to hide the holes. Sigh, wish mitsu was so customer-centric!

the holes are quite ugly on the IX front bumper. I painted some button plugs I bought at ACE hardware to match. It looks better I guess. im still trying to find some smaller ones. I will get some pictures of it this weekend.
