Nisei Engineering does it again...

Well, I am not the sort of person who is impressed easily and expects quality work and I am willing to pay for it as well, but quality and customer service comes first!

That being said, I contacted Kevin@Nisei hoping to have some custom IC pipes for my IX MR. I want to use the HKS BOV (no flames, its off-topic for this post's purposes) and have it re-circulate.

Kevin sent me a first set to prototype. We forgot to account for the MR and the 6 speed tranny, so it didnt fit. But, Kevin was quick to come up with another solution. We decided to go with a top mount BOV setup and re-circulate it.

Also, I sent him my HKS RS Intake pipe and strut bar to get matched to the IC pipes. I chose to go with the Nisei red as it matches the valve cover and the samco viper red hoses.

Kevin has been great with communication, very trusting and patient. He listened to my requests and followed through. This is true customer service at its best. I work in the service industry and I think I know how a customer should be treated and Kevin has illustrated the qualities in more than one way, time and time again.

Enough babbling, here are the "money shots"...

My battery kit is in the process of being anodized and should be shipped shortly.

Please contact Kevin at Nisei (sales@niseiengineering.com) if you would like more information on services provided. Else, please check nisei-evo.com and look in the forums for details as well....

I cannot wait for my competition FMIC now...

Kevin does some nice custom stuff! It's all quality stuff to be sure. I concur on the fact that Kevin takes care of his customers too. You have a problem with something he sends you a new one right now.

Nisei is one of the best upgrade choices, IMO.

Please post pics after you installed them! They turned out sweet.

A little off topic, but how do you re-circulate the HKS SSQV?

hssoshady - I will make sure to do that. YOu purchase a re-circulating fitting and attach it to the end of th BOV and then send a return line to the intake. Just like the factory setup....

Ok, to answer some other questions:

Eggy - The price on all the work wasnt finalized. Its the cost of the IC pipes + HKS flange + powercoating. As you can tell, I got some extra stuff coated and so I am not sure what the total bill is. Contact Kevin@Nisei for pricing!

Saikou_kun - Think of what the DC3 will look like coated that red, friend! Its a 99% match to the valve cover! Yes, I will be sendind the DC3 in for coating as well as well as some other little things under the hood!

2StepsAhead - Why not buy the set, sir? Its worth it and works with the stock airbox. You won't regret it. Just my 2 cents!

Sap12687 - Well, Nisei is coming out with a re-designed FMIC. There has been posts about it already. Per Kevin, it will be an even better performer than the current one they have out (which is stellar news to me). So, I will be waiting eagerly to ****** one up!

KC,

Looks great! I've got you on the list for the competition FMIC. Let Kevin or myself know if you need anything!
