A little dark and blurry...

 

Dealer denied the wing replacement for fading so I just figured I'd take it off and see how I like it.

 

nice car.. but it seems awkward how the wing somewhat compensates for the evo's small trunk length

 

I thought dealers were fixing the wings that faded?

 

I thought so too? DOn't get me wrong car looks good, but the wife had the same problem on her evo, the dealership denied it, and she called the corporate headquarters, and they said "yes" they replace those via warranty. she had a new one in 2 weeks.

Sometimes you have to go above the dealership.

My dealer showed me a bulletin sent from Mitsubishi, acknowledging the fact that Evo VIII spoilers were fading, and they offered to replace mine since it was in the process of fading. I got my new wing installed by the dealer today as a matter of fact. I got the Evo IX wing though.

the evo's roof line is too high, without the wing it looks akward.

I really wish they would have chopped the roof a little bit to look more m3'ish... Oh well

 

MMMMM...I LOVE a clean wingless TB Evo

 

i've yet to see an evo that i like better wingless. still looks good, but the wing just goes well with the car.

I like it alright without the wing but u definitely need to add some things like a body kit and maybe a small spoiler like 5slow. I was actually thinking of going wingless myself after seeing a 4 door audi lowered with a body kit and small wing. It looked very clean and nice.
