When you see- or anyone that dosnt own an evo- an evo, a 350z, or a rx-8 they just look sporty .... street race like ... To attract a certain demographic they put the car in the movie ... jeez get over it .. grow up ...

Weird, if anything the car should be faster bc it wouldnt loose 17-20% drivetrain loss compared to about 10-12% for a rwd of fwd car making more power to the wheels

I have been privy to seeing many of the driving scenes already, if your into damn amazing driving and can ignore what will obviously be a pathetic plot you'll dig it. There is AFAIK very little CGI in the driving scenes, it's all real and pretty damn nutty/impressive. They didn't make the usual Hollywood mistake which would be hiring regular (lame) old school stunt drivers and filling the gaps (in ability) with CGI. They got together some of the best drifters in the World (the best in the U.S.) and let them do what the do.

Give it a chance

Increased power from drivetrain loss is pwned by AWD traction at a dig.

Regular lancers come in Pheonix red which is the same color as Rally Red. Those red ones are either OZ Rallys or Ralliarts.

Who cares wether they converted the Evos to RWD, they did the same to the Skyline. They probably won't even mention that fact in the film, only behind the scenes making of footage.

The website doesn't even show the Evo as one of the movie cars, but it makes sure it shows every Z used, even when the only thing they can say/show about them is the crazy mad tyte paint and vinyl schemes. Thats the big crime.

Now we all know why all these people call us ricers. It's all because of the Fast and the Furious movies. Can't hollywood just make a movie for the "real" car enthusiast and make it accurate instead of stunts. I love how they have to make most of the cars really riced out. I like how the evos look but only if they were on the track, but this movie is about street racing and they could've made them more basic so they wouldn't look ricey.

well, if they made the movie ralistic, how much less money do you think they will make? Its mainly intednded for those wiht an iq below 30. To those people, making the movie realistic would be the most boring movie possible.

Yea I know but I was just wondering that why can't they make it for kids and then make a different one for us.
