Like the title says I smashed the front of my V11 and am in the process of restoring her back to her former beauty...




Now for the question... As you can see the passenger side headlight is scuffed big time so needs replacing - I was thinking of up-grading the lights to the Evo 8 MR lights but heard one or two things about wiring up the fog lights?? Does anybody know how difficult it is to sort the fog lights out or if there is any other problems with up-grading the lights on my V11?? Your help is much appreciated...

dude, does your ride come with fog lights? if you do, its plug and play if you replace the JDM MR headlights. So will your HIDs..

Thank goodness its minor, but i'd guess you must be heart broken... Hope you get her up and done soon.

 

Good luck on the lights bro. On a side note, I spent a week in Cardiff; in fact the Rose Pub was the first place that I ever got drunk! Lol Beautiful area, and the Cardiff castle was huge! Anyhow, no more thread jacking.

As the last guy said I do believe that the modification was only for us U.S'ers. You should have everything that you need, if your car came with the fog lights. Hope you get the car going again soon.

I think only US evo's had to be moded. I have a Set of 8 MR's Practically Brand New That I'll be selling sometime in the near future....

 

Even if you do end up having to change out the foglight harness, its super easy. Just cut off the old connector and wire in the new connector. There's only 2 wires, black and white. Good luck w/ur car!

And here's what I wan't her to look like when she's all fixed up again (including MR headlights.) As long as I can use existing bulbs I think I will be ok... Does anybody know for sure if I can use my standard UK spec evo 7 bulbs in the MR headlight housing?? Cheers
