What he said. It is considered Vandalism and a police report should follow. Write to the home owners association, find out what gardening company they hired. Then call that company and tell them your story. Dont threaten, be calm and collective. Tell them there was a witness, you would like for them to take care of the repair and you dont really want to take legal action against them. I seriously cant believe the gardener wouldnt notice hitting your car. Maybe if there was 1 scratch... maybe...but a few? How blind can he be?
Hope that helps
Man I hate hearing how people got their cars keyed, I live in Michigan and in Royal Oak their are tons of bikers. They all think they own that town so nice cars that go their always get **** done to them. It can be keyed or as bad as sand in the gas tank. So I don't park my 2006 IX MR their unless I can watch it or will be with it.
I agree with everyone else people should be allowed to shoot em on the spot if they do any damage to your car.

It is legal (atleast in FL) to defend your property at any cost. If you feel harmed or in danger or threatened on your own property, you have every right to protect it. And yes, that means killing them too. So, If you're the guy who stole my carbon fiber hood, broke my windows, dropped glass right behind my car, egged my bros srt-4, and egged my moms porsche, if I do catch you, which I will, you're, more than likely, gonna die.

I used to park my 240 inside and a week later, i had 20 different new dent. I parked my car outside to avoid dents... but I guess dents are better than down-to-the-metal- scrapes.
The only way insurance would cover this, is if i had proof of who did it. If not, it's just vandalism and they wont cover it unless you go into your own deductibles, which raise your premium... at least that's how my insurance company works (lame!).

You should try to call up your company, don't say you want to make a claim but just ask if you did, would it raise your rates.
OMFG WOW!!!! I WOKE UP THIS MORNING AND FOUND ANOTHER GASH ON THE DRIVERS SIDE OF MY CAR THIS TIME!! I'm pissed off and actually drove down to the Home Owners Association. They were'nt much help, but they gave me the phone number to the gardeners who were working on our lawn. I gave him a call today saying that his workers damaged my car last week and again this week. I told him I'm gonna be contacting my insurance company as well as my attorney. Now I'm awaiting his call...
What do you guys suggest I do from here if he refuses to pay up and says "you have no proof"? But I KNOW it's them because it sure as hell was'nt there last night when I washed my car (yes I'm ****). And this morning there's another scratch down to the metal.
