That sucks, the easiest solution is to contact the police, have them come out and fill out an incident report. Let them tell you what your options are at that point.

The owner of the landscaping/gardening company called back. He said he's gonna be coming down tomorrow morning to talk to me. Hope everything works out and I get my car fixed. How can you even fix those scratches that go down to the metal though? Will a shop pretty much just use touch up paint and try to buff it and try to make it even?

 

if you call the police they will tell you that if you did not see them do it there is nothing that they can do. Someone has to see the damage being done for them to do anything about it.
