2 thule racks broke on my old audi. yakima rack on my tb ix mr.

^ i just don't like yakima rails. i should have rephrased it better

square tubing > round tubing

when the board carrier is attached to a square tube, it will not swivel whereas the round tubing will make the carriers swivel (when the carriers are not holding any boards or skis). also thule has a board carrier that pulls out (that's the one i got) and yakima doesn't...

also, thule doesn't make racks for the MR's so you're stuck with yakima regardless

word. haha and also good point bout the round poles vs. the square ones. my snowboard atatchment is being a real b*tch lately. keep moving on the poles. Yakima is pretty durable. but the give you these sh*tty peices of vinyl, that just fall off and end up scratching my door jams. PISSES ME OFF!!!!!!!!!
