I don't think roof racks fit the evo well, save that for your staion wagon

roof racks are not for show. it's for carrying stuff. and yeah, i would love to own an evo wagon

when the board carrier is attached to a square tube, it will not swivel whereas the round tubing will make the carriers swivel (when the carriers are not holding any boards or skis). also thule has a board carrier that pulls out (that's the one i got) and yakima doesn't...
You're just not tightening it enough...I had this problem with my first set of Powderhounds. My new set-up, I have no issues...I tightened that **** down by hand and rocked it around a bit to make sure it wasn't going anywhere.

I had the same problem, but really cranked it down and it stays put now.

roof has held about 75 lbs total in bikes and has held up well even doing 85 mph.

I love this white evo. What camera you using if you dont mind asking. Im looking to get my roof rack also I ride alot but never went out of town to race just in california.

this thread makes me ready for winter. i really don't think think the roof racks look bad at all, especially when accompanied by a snowboard.
