I looked through the Official GG Evo thread and couldn't find any.

I am looking for what it might look like with gold rims. Specifically Volks, or Advans.

If anyone has any pics, please post them here.

ive seen GG on bronze, but not gold.

 

there was a thread quite a while back, where a guy bought gold Advans for his GG either 8 MR or 9 and he got flammed. Maybe type in "Graphite Grey gold" in a search and it might pop up.

gold is kind of a no no color on GG... Bronze looks great IMO

THank you for those threads. THat changes my opinion. I might end up getting a GG IX and I wanted to see if the Volk LE-28n's (gold) would look good or not on it.

I am guessing it wont.

Guess I would have to give the rims to the wife's evo.

 

I imagine the Volk CE28N in black w/ red lip would look REALLY nice on a GG Evo though. That's what I'm planning on getting after I'm done with all my power stuff. Almost done for the summer too! Just need my maxford headers, o2 housing, LICP, and GSC 280 Evo IX cams. After that and a re-tune. I'm gonna start doing suspension/wheel work.

I don't think gold will work. But, bronze doesn't look that bad. In that thread, I don't like the wheels on the first Evo, but if you scroll down to the pics I posted, that Evo looks hot .

Only silver or gray w/ polished lip look good IMO
