You ain't seen nothign yet. I'll get some photos up soon.
BTW, chips don't all come from being too close from the car in front. The amount of crap we have on our roads and the condition of our roads, it's just impossible to avoid. Seriously, not a day goes by without me seeing some amount of small pebbles scattered on the roads. Lorries here just spill their load all ove the place and you can hang back like 2-3 car lenghts and still get them flung at you. Besides, the evo's paint isn't exactly bulletproof...
In fact, the worst one I have I got when I was stationary(!) A small stone (I assume) smashed against my passenger side window and bounced into my wing mirror which smashed. I was parked at the time, got out of the car looked around and had absolutely no idea where it came from... very strange...

I was gonna get a clear bra, but for the whole front end kit it's like ~$400.00. I explained this to the owner of the Mitsu dealer where I bought my car, and he was like "You could get your front end repainted for $400.00". So I was like... yeah, if it gets that bad, I can get it painted, and put the $400 elsewhere...

Wow.
Your paint chips look like somebody took a pick and chipped it.
Please if you read this and your Evo's paint is in good shape get a clear bra now.
Honestly, it's a great investment. I made the decision a few months back after a trip to Staten Island in which I came back with three deep paint chips.
A new paint job every couple of years isn't a good idea; you'd be facing the same problem all over again with paint chips.
Just fork over the typical price for a kit and install ($500-$700) and save yourself the headaches of re-painting and more importantly the piece of mind that you can drive aggressively without damaging your paint.
Just some advice.
