Anyone else get rock chips like this? I was thinkin of gettin one of those bra's for my evo but I hate how they look, but I hate rock chips too. This sux.

Thats what happens when you ride behind someone too closely. I have learned due to previous cars I have had, And I dont ride that close behind anyone anymore. Saves you trouble in the long run.

 

Ouch... those have to be the worst chips I've seen yet! Get yourself some touch up paint.

 

I get stuff that bad too, they worst of it though is suprisingly on the Side Mirrors....

I have probablly 10 on the left side, all of which are really really noticeable.

I've just learnt to deal with it for now, because I tried to use touchup paint but it didnt work that well (at least in my case it didnt)

 

Eh, I just tell myself it adds character. Just tell people you got them while rallying last summer

n just get some factory touch up paint from the local dealer...

 

my dad tried touch up paint on his sti and he actually made it worse and more noticable, hah. i hope i can just cover up that bare metal

 

damn!!!!!!, i only have 2 like that on my hood and a lot really small dents, barely noticeable unless u get really really close to the car, like someone said that is what happens when u race (uuhhmmummmm), are really close to another vehicle or truck in front of you. For the one near the mirror, just replace the plastic trim. They are not expensive and at least your car will appreciate that .

I have million chips on my 03. Doesn't even faze me anymore

 

My 04 front end looks like swiss cheese. Chips everywhere with about 43,000 miles driven. Mostly highway...damn 16 wheelers and New England winters.

 

Yikes, those are bad. Take comfort in knowing that your paint is still of higher quality than the Nissan shiz. My front end is a joke.

Clear bras are only good if you get one right away. If you put one on now it'll look bad.
