man this sounds like me when i had my G35 and was thinking about getting an Evo, come on, the evo interior is so blah because the performance is WOAH! when your in the evo, you don't care about the inside as much, your having so much fun, also, the only cheap part about it is the dash, which you can get a in dash dvd/navi unit, problem solved~

get the Evo, sti's don't come close when you start modding $ for $. peace!

WHen you're driving the thing, the last thing that matters is the dash. It's one of those things that you just totally look past, i had a huge problem with the interior before buying, but ever since I bought the car, i have never complained once about the interior. Just a few dress-up mods go a long way.

Plus that orbital double-din kit, will spice up the interior tremendously.

All the pix of my trip are in my blog, but there are 0 drift pics. Maybe cause I'm in Kyoto??? I dunno... people here are really responsible on the streets so you will never see drifting within cities.

I did meet up with a member here, JapanEvoIV who has a really sweet (believe it or not!) Evo IV.

Yup, go to other places than just Tokyo.

Kyoto alone has dozens of famous temples, etc. You probably wouldn't be able to see them all, but definitely get out to see some areas that display Japanese culture. Tokyo is great but it is not what Japanese culture is all about. Go out to the countryside for a day. Okinawa is also amazingly beautiful from what I hear.
