Optimum Car Wax kicks butt
Before I tried this stuff, I tried the Eagle One spray-on nanowax. The nanowax was ok, but after one post-wax washing, it was obvious that the stuff was wearing off already. OTOH, the Optimum spray-on wax kicks butt. After several washings, water still beads like after the wax has been freshly applied. Its great too on windows. Leaves no streaks or haze at all. Takes me about 30 min to do a full wax on the car.
Online, and it's okeeeeeyyy......nothing special really. 30 mins? That's hella long son ;P. Takes me 30 to wax on and off with a true sealant or carnuba...I'm kidding, I'm just giving you $hit...I'm a detailer
. It's a great one step product...but as I always say, it's all in the prep!

As for pix, I'm too lazy. However, it looks as good as the silver evo in the 2006 Evo IX MR brochure. :-) What's most amazing about this stuff is how strongly water beads on it. I've never seen anything like it.

I would go with a claybar on a TB and then with a moderate polish for swirlmarks since they show up alot on black cars. After the moderate polish i would go with a finer polish to make the car have a wet look and then finish off with a paint sealent. After the sealent it is your choice to wax with your favorite wax( but for cars with clear coat a sealent should be sufficient, i think a wax is a waste of time) Also i would apply all this with a porter cable random orbital buffer. I dont care what anybody says a machine does it better then 1000 hands.
Also, I bought my car a few months ago and applied a product know as "Zaino Brothers Polish." The first recommended application is for 3 coats. I applied 1. Here it is 3 months later and there is still super fine beads of water when I wash. I aslo wash it once a week. That is the true test of a polish. The application from start to finish was about 3 hours in the making, washing, drying, application, and removal of product. It makes the paint feel like glass when the polish is removed. I LOVE IT!

What I would reccomend buying is Dawn dish soap to wash for the first time, and then polishes # 2 & 5, and the accelerator. This is all will be under $60 shipped to your door.

Can't wait to try it...I just recieved my order yesterday. Spent about $160 total...
I dont get why Sal (Zaino) still calls his products "polishes"...they are really sealants, AWESOME ones at that.
ROFL to the guy who mentioned Aquawax...that'll be in my collection soon seeing as to how all my buddies on AUtopia are raving about it. I have 21 other sealantsd and waxes to use up first...
