very quick pics..GG IX with graphite stock enkeis

Some quick (and I mean quick) pics of my painted stock enkeis. Used duplicolor graphite wheel paint. 3 coats of primer, 4 coats of paint, 3 coats of clear. Sanded them down with 320 grit before hand

That is the first painted OEM wheel I like ....Let me tell you I have seen my fair share of painted stock wheels on this forum.

looks great man, but i think i would have removed the wheel weights before hand and put sticky weights on afterwards

looks awesome.. was planning on doing the same thing, but my brother has a powder coating machine.. im going to bake my paint.. will post em when i get em done.. nice color match though

Did you take the tires off to do them? I know a couple buddies of mine didn't and the paint started to chip off near the tires. Anyway, they look real nice. I have my stockers sitting in the garage for a while and have been contiplating powercoating them.

Didnt remove the tires, I just used the card trick. Also just painted right over the weights, lol

I dont care too much, these will soon be winter wheels

yeah, the color match is pretty good. The same if no better than the MR BBS since the wheel paint is metallic as well
