the nt01 won't last as long as the ra1, it is faster... but just to note that. they also don't last well on the street.

i think the only rcomps that are street goable are the ra1 and the pzero corsa, maybe the victorracer v710. the other street worthy rcomps like the super sport race have been discontinued. this is going by tread wear, by tread shape... the only contender is the ra1. you could try to run pilot sport cups on the street but when they're not really hot they don't wear as well.

as far as 285 goes, with some fender yanking you can get them to fit in the front without a problem. and you always want the same tire all around.

What pissed me off with what he said is that Im a ricer for running a 265 and that its too streached on a 9.5" width rim ... when in fact its not. A 285 is way to big and would never fit on my car. I already have the fenders shaved to the max and if you look in the pics is real close.
well your offset is different from what nils runs. your setup won't shoe 285s.

^ Nils runs 275s

I'm sure I could fit a 275 ... but I have been working with my friend who works at AP BOSS in Japan with my set up, and I have done a lot of research on on wheel / tire / offset combos and feel the 265s with the 18x9.5s with the +15 in the front will work best. Its been too hot here in Vegas to track so once Sept hits I'll get some time to try it out.

Set up also has a lot to do with personal driving style too.

I'm running 235 width tires on a 18X9.5 width right now. I'm a ricer, not M3this 265 setup.

It's a good track setup for sure. Strong wheels. I saw yours in the classifieds but got permission from the wife too late..you snagged an awesome deal...I would have used those for a daily driving set!

To go to 285 wouldn't be worth the trouble. You can just buy wide fenders and run 295's instead....

The v710 has no place on the street.

My NT01 have been fine so far with ~400 street/autox miles. Even tempted fate and drove the 110mi to the last autox with on and off rain...

I love it too. The only drawback is that you have to roll-massage the fenders to make it work. Sad

Well then someone lied to you. If you did use it for that, you wouldn't get an accurate reading, it's for the nitrogen.
