just picked her up saturday.

our project sti was picked up by its new owner... and we picked up our evo ix.

tarmac black (didnt realize it was metallic hee he)....

normally we do silver cars, but we thought we'd add a twist.

here are some crappy shots.... ill get some good ones today when the wheels go on...

we installed hotchkis springs and a turboback on sat, along with an aps diverter valve....

shortshift, bushings, mr gauges (out of our project MR), wideband, and wheels will go on today...

this car is just for us to explore the bolton back with the ix.... and get a nice foundation for flashes for our clients....

anyway...

yeah, there is absolutely no talent involved either ha!

well, mostly, you need the support of a good sponsors, it's very difficult now-a-days....

half of the driver's in most series are bringing lots of sponsorship to the table....

but to get started, usually you need to impress someone that has some involvement with a large team or race series..... I was fortunate to have the luck of unknowingly getting paired up with two team owners in the rolex 24 hours of daytona, my first professional race...

next thing i knew i was in a prototype.

Ya got less than a year for next years Time Attacks!!!!

 

we have a game plan for the time attack, but the shop has to stay on course....

we are going to go above and beyond if we do it, and mostly develop the chassis.....

the idea of a pushrod suspension has come up LOL

damn Chad you get around i knew you from audiworld. Friends with mark, ant, and awe guys. I guess your racing is doing good these days. Is this your evo? i actually switched over and went to a evo 9.

yeah man, i talk to ant just about every day when i get online...

i have the evo 8 and now this ix (replaced the sti)....

they are outstanding cars, and i feel quite a bit of improvement over the 8 honestly, in stock to stock form (even though our 8 is an MR)...
